Students who successfully complete all the requirements of the education program they are enrolled in, such as courses, practice and internship, are entitled to receive a diploma.
Program Profile
During the four-year education, focusing on interior architecture design; Theoretical, technical and applied courses such as basic design, interior architectural design, technical drawing, interior architectural environment and furniture design, construction, building knowledge, survey-restoration, technical equipment, expression techniques, materials, design history are given. The professional internship program, which is mandatory to be completed during the education period, enables students to establish a direct connection with professional life. Educational institutions, alumni and companies, with whom communication is maintained at the academic level, support the interior architecture program with events such as seminars, workshops, applications, domestic and international trips and fairs.
Employment Profiles of Graduates (with examples)
Graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture can work as practitioners, designers and controllers in project and construction units of the public and private sectors. Additionally, they can establish their own businesses and create employment opportunities. Depending on their profession, they can work as researchers, writers, consultants, editors and assistant editors in the publishing industry. They can act as experts in professional fields. They can work as educators and researchers in interior architecture and related departments of higher education institutions and in research centers.
Transition to Higher Degree Programs
Graduates who have successfully completed their undergraduate education can study in master's, doctorate and art proficiency programs, provided that they are successful in the Graduate Entrance Exams and receive valid grades from the relevant institution exams.
Exams, Measurement and Evaluation
The method of measurement and evaluation applied for each course is defined in detail in the Course Teaching Plan. In theoretical courses, the student; In applied courses with research papers, presentations, midterm exams and final exams; It is evaluated through mid-term project work, model and prototype applications, research paper, presentation, end-of-semester sketch exams, midterm exam and final exam.
Graduation Requirements
Students who fulfill all the requirements of the education program they are enrolled in, such as coursework, practice and internship, and have the average success grade required by the program, are entitled to receive a diploma.
